It reminds me of things that shouldn’t be forgotten and helps me watch out for it in my students.

You and I are about the same age. I never had to deal with sexual bullying like you, I was just plain bullied. But your writing about guys reminds me of once how a few different ‘popular’ boys asked me out a few times and I was convinced that it was a joke, so I said no. In retrospect, it probably wasn’t. Haha. But I couldn’t fathom it because I was so ‘uncool’ and made good grades with ease, which is why I was bullied often and constantly cheated off of in school work. Thanks for writing this, it reminds me of things that shouldn’t be forgotten and helps me watch out for it in my students.
