UnSlut: A Documentary Film

"Every high school student should see, discuss, and learn from UnSlut: A Documentary Film."

— School Library Journal
Why is the sexual shaming of girls and women, especially sexual assault victims, still so prevalent? UnSlut: A Documentary Film explores the causes and devastating effects of what is often called "slut" shaming, sexual bullying, and gender-based discrimination in North America. Featuring the stories of six women who experienced sexual shaming as well as insights from sexuality experts and media figures, UnSlut: A Documentary Film offers goals for personal, local, and institutional solutions.
HOW TO WATCH

"Students were open and receptive to the ideas. UnSlut changed their perspective and helped them develop empathy." - Mandy Miller, Counselor, Savannah Country Day School

"We loved Unslut. It does a great, balanced job of covering the issues from religious views to modern feminism." - Christina Ghanbarpour, Professor, Saddleback College

"Our students (especially female) reacted very positively to UnSlut and many of them related to the film. This is a fantastic program, and greatly needed." - Cristina Puri, School Counselor, Lincoln Park Middle School

Let's create a world where "slut" doesn't even make sense as an insult.
